“Rosemead played well, but came up short in Friday’s CIF Southern Section Division 13 playoff opener, losing to Riverside Ramona 35-28.
Rosemead finished the season 7-4 as Ramona (9-2) will move on to face Cantwell Sacred Heart in the second round.
Ramona jumped to a 21-14 halftime lead, behind a 15-yard touchdown pass from Diego Muniz to Adrian Monje, and got their other touchdowns on run from Donte Roby and Kevin Sander."
